Augmented Suns
The ‘photogram’ darkroom method in traditional photographic processing is used to capture the image on MacBook monitor. The symbol of sun is a icon from MacBook, which mean screen brightness is up when capturing. I took pictures for the ‘sun’ and some landscape images from Google.
What we know about the world is mostly from images, not from what we actually see. We unconsciously know everything via digital devices. I have never been to those landscapes but I just know how they look like. The ‘Augmented sun’ reminds us that we are in an unrealistic reality.
