"Repeat a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth." Lenin, Hitler, Goebbels have had similar discourse. Those so-called political brainwashing, are national propaganda skills. I would like to bring it to the political situation in China, where the Communist Party is very good at inculcating the ideology of the people.
The TV screen is a fragment of red film "The East is Red" in 1964, "the Chinese People's Liberation Army March". It told the story of defeating Chiang Kai-shek in the Chinese Civil War, partially telling the the historical relationship between the Mainland and Taiwan. Red films and red songs wrer commonly used in political propaganda, with virtual setting, unnatural actions, exaggerated music, which were blatant hypocrisy. But people did blindly accept the single ideological indoctrination.
Nowadays medias also have many ideological propaganda. Zhou Ziyu who is a Taiwanese South Korean actress openly apologized and admit that he is Chinese because of her company's oppression. This ideological oppression was dead showed in international media. I misappropriate two of her fragments in the video, "Only one China" and " Cannot face it". The sound overlap with each other and two TV screen face each other, blurring out the real sentences and sound sources and making contradictions out of context.
