The book I created serves as a poetic documentation of the journey between my parents' home in Kwun Tong and my current residence in Fanling. It captures the distinct elements of the landscape along the highway, such as the sound barriers adorned with bird stickers, which have become the key themes in my artwork. Through this project, I aim to showcase the intricate and multifaceted nature of the urban environment in Hong Kong.
The photo is created using the iPhone's panorama feature to record the shifting landscape while in transit on bus. Unlike a flawless panoramic photograph, it represented our visual encounters during travel, which are often fragmented. This symbolizes the cyclic, fluid, and subconscious nature of contemporary.
